The XXIII International Conference of Young Geologists - ICYG 2024 united for the first time the effort of not three but four faculties coming from three countries (Slovakia, Czech Republic and Poland) with the new member of organizing faculties: Faculty of Science, Charles University, Prague (Czechia). This year 31 participants of various nationalities represented universities and other institutions from 6 countries (Slovakia, Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary, Finland, Norway) attended the conference and presented 21 papers in two days. All student presentations were evaluated as is the custom since the year 2010.
