Conference Date: November 5 – 7, 2020
The conference was originally planned for April 2–4, 2020, in hotel Pieniny ** in Niedzica (Poland). Unfortunately, this date had to be cancelled due to worldwide restrictions resulting from the Covid19 pandemic and concern for the health and safety of the participants, so the conference was postponed to autumn. Since autumn brought a new wave of Covid outbreaks, the conference had to be cancelled again, and the organizers have decided to hold it online.

31 virtual presentations of participants from five countries (Poland, Slovakia, Russia, Austria, and Czech Republic) were presented in two days. Lecture days started with keynote lectures by prof. Juraj Majzlan from the Institute of Geosciences, Friedrich-Schiller University, Jena (Germany) and dr inż. Michał Krobicki, AGH University of Science and Technology, Kraków (Poland).

Given the unusual circumstances, the excursion in Pieniny Klippen Belt planned for the third day of the conference had to be cancelled.
The conference was organized by Fundacja dla AGH (Kraków, Poland) in cooperation with Faculty of Earth Sciences and Environmental Management, University of Wrocław under the scientific guarantee of Faculty of Geology, Geophysics and Environmental Protection, AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków(Poland), Faculty of Mining, Ecology, Process Control and Geotechnologies, Technical University of Košice (Slovakia) and Faculty of Natural Sciences, Comenius University in Bratislava(Slovakia).
The conference was organized under the auspice and with the financial support of Kraków City and Dean of the Faculty of Geology, Geophysics and Environmental Protection AGH UST and honorary patronage of AGH UST Rector.
